How Do I Get Help?

** Any resident of Juniata County in urgent need of food will be assisted at the Pantry with a One-Time Emergency food distribution. **

People in need of continued food assistance must first obtain a referral from a qualified agency (listed below) or your local church. A new referral is required every twelve months.

In order to request a referral, household members must be:
    1. A resident of Juniata County
    2. Income eligible based on 150% poverty levels
    3. Current clients of the referring agency or member of local church community if asking for referral from a church

Households may visit the food pantry for groceries no more than twelve (12) times in one year, and no more than one (1) time per month, except in the case of Alternate Distribution Sites (see below).

If you have any questions, please call us at 717-436-9718 during regular business hours.
