Summer Backpack Program
Eligibility - Children MUST
*Reside in Juniata County
*Have completed any grade, kindergarten
through 8th, during this schoolyear
*Have participated in the free or reduced lunch program
To Register your child(ren) for the Backpack Program:
*Call the Food Pantry after June 1st for an appointment
*Parent/guardian should present a photo ID, and an
Access card belonging to the child or parent.
*Children must be registered by an adult with legal custody
Appointments are required for registration and lunch pickup.
Lunch pickups may also be combined with monthly
grocery appointments for regular Food Pantry clients.
Lunches will be pre-boxed and
distributed once a month
(20 lunches per child June and July,
15 lunches in Aug.)
Distribution starts June 7th and ends August 27th
A FREE BACKPACK IS PROVIDED FOR EACH CHILD WHO REGISTERS!
